Prolific Wildflower ID in Hebrides

Please could anyone help us?

This white daisy like flower is taking over all the garden, its in the fields specially on the machair, in ditches, wasteland etc. I think its a Camomile but my other half says no.

whereabouts do you live? I'd say wild chamomile but if your in the north then it wont be

I'd say some kind of Chamomile too. Lawn Chamomile is very low growing - from what you have said dosn't sound like that.

What does it smell like?

Corn Chamomile smells sweet and is hairy - Stinking Chamomile - well - stinks

and is not so hairy

It is on the Uists, Outer Hebrides, growing about 12-15 inches, some a little lower. It is not hairy and it doesn't really smell. If I put my nose right up to it the smell is of fresh plant slightly sweet but not really scented.
