Whats your favourite wildflower?

Hello everyone, Im starting this post to find out whats peoples most favourite wildflower well mine is the lovely ox eye daisy . whats yours ? sheila

Mine are the Bluebells on mass

There's three I like equally.
Snowdrop
Bluebell
Foxglove.

Every year I decide I will try to photo all the species (I do leave some time to do other things too) and I end up feeling like a squirrel in a pine cone glut. Tricky and so simple and subtle.

For me it's Scarlet Pimpernel and Herb Robert. They're the first flowers I ever looked up in a book and I still find them fascinating.

Scabious (various types) or vast expanses of sea lavender.

For insects, though, I'll always go and take a look at ragwort

Herb Robert is my favourite. It's a pretty flower, with distinctive and attractive leaves (epecially when they turn red). It is probably the wildflower I see most often when I go for a walk, and it flowers for a long part of the year too. I'm looking forward to seeing my first of the year!

Spring Gentian on the Burren in Ireland for its unbelievable sky blue colour;
Scottish Primrose on Orkney for it's unbeliveable bright pink colour, miniscule size and rarity;
Any British wild Orchids...

Then again, masses of woodland Bluebells under the fresh green of emerging Beech leaves in Spring is always a marvellous and cheering sight;

Ooooh, I can't choose!
