It looks like a variety of inula, possibly Elecampagne (Inula helenium) |

| | | Re: Help with identification I also think it is Elecampane (Inula helenium) - there is also a very similar plant called Yellow Oxeye (Telekia speciosa) which has heart-shaped bases to its lowest leaves, but I think your plant is the former. |
