Looks like Himalayan Honeysuckle or Tutsan

It is about a foot tall and the flowers are just what you see there, they do not hang down any further than you can see there.

I have some in my garden too, but I don't know what they are. They are not wild flowers and mine came in a packet of seed from Thompson & Morgan.

Tutsan is a large yellow flower of the St Johns Wort family (Hypericum androsaemum) See Tutsan - Hypericum androsaemum - English Nature

I definitely did not sow these as they just appeared - there are lots of them too.

They self seed freely and my seed packet was bought about 6 years ago. Yet they still come up in different parts of the garden every year.

Yours are probably from a neighbour's garden or even from a bird seed feeder. They are not British wild flowers and can only be considered a weed if they grow where you don't want them to grow. I like them so I leave them alone.

Going by what appear to be bracts perhaps this is some kind of Justicia ???

I think it's a really pretty plant, and I envy you. My grandma gave me a load of seeds last year from her plants but only one has come up so far.

It self seeds, but it's not particularly invasive and is easily spotted and pulled up before it flowers due to the bluish foliage.

Thank you very much!!! That is exactly it! Now, maybe, I should collect some seeds and plant it near my insect habitat? It is constantly covered with bees who seem to love it.
