Been sent this to ID but its possibly from Bulgaria??

Not Borage, but some kind of Echium, like Bugloss. Borage has pointed petals -star-flower by nickname.

Looks like an Anchusa sp. to me, perhaps A. italica (azurea).

I agree with aeshna, I think without further info, Italian Bugloss - Anchusa italica, is probably as close as you're going to get.
