Just wondering if anyone can pin down the enclosed flower in partial bloom opposite the front door of the Central Criminal Court in London?

Yes it was in a very formal, granite planter. It had obviously taken quite a hold of the site to! |

| | | Re: flower outside the old bailey london It`s probably Polyganum affine. That`s the most likely one to be planted in that sort of situation. There is another that we used to call Siberian Knotgrass that looks a lot like that but the leaves go brown in the winter. I don`t have time to look things up at the moment though.

It is very rarely found naturalised anywhere other than in London.
