| | | Re: Four Trees to ID please First is a willow.
Some pics of leaves look like ash but then I see later ones that look like Judas tree, I think.
Weeping willow.
Last one is a cherry laurel.
I hope. |

| | | Re: Four Trees to ID please Thanks for the replies.
and apologies folk.
I titled it four to ID but actually there are five sets of photos.
So if someone could post No and Species I would be very grateful.
I think identifying trees is quite difficult to do by photographs so I am glad you lot are willing to help. |

| | | Re: Four Trees to ID please 1. Salix spp. A little hard to tell from the photos (but Salix can be a pain to ID anyway) but I wonder if it might be S. alba Caerulea, Cricket-bat Willow. Common in the Eastern Counties, mostly Suffolk/Essex but I've seen some in Norfolk too.
2. Ash; Fraxinus excelsior
3. False Acacia/Black Locust; Robinia pseudoacacia
4. Weeping willow; Salix babylonica (or one of the many hybrids; Salix can be a pain to.....)
5. Cherry laurel; Prunus laurocerasus. |
