| | | Red Berry ID please! Hello there,
I have a Red Berry here - it is growing on a tree on a small green in a suburban area, in the Midlands (Tamworth). The berry is similar in shape to a Hawthorn Berry, but larger, and is turning from green to red. Here is a picture:
Would be very grateful if anyone knows what it is!

| | | Re: Red Berry ID please! The larger leaf looks like a Midland hawthorn Crataegus laevigata, but I think this could be any one of the many many hawthorn species/cultivars. Someone else may enlighten you a little more on this.
