Any time! They are a good bet to grow - nothing eats them , they stand up to all weathers, last years and the bees love them.

Many do get debilitated by an unsightly rust fungus, but I believe there are resistant strains, but not sure how reliable this is.

Just about everything has been moved out of Scrophulariaceae now, mostly to Orobanchaceae (all the parasites) and Plantaginaceae (most of the rest, including Antirrhinum), but only some of the most recent ID books use the new classification.
