| | | Garden Pond Plant ID? Hi All,
I hope this is the correct place for this. We have a small garden pond (about 1m x 0.5m and 0.5m deep) and we've noticed this plant has started to cover about half the surface.
We haven't introduced and I wondered if anyone here could help identify it and tell me if it is likely to be problematic and if we should remove it.
I have more pictures if required.
Thanks in advance

| | | Re: Garden Pond Plant ID? Richard, it's Ivy-leaved Duckweed - Lemna trisulca.
It's our only Duckweed who's leaves are submerged, just below the surface.
From my experience it is not as bad as some of the other Duckweeds, but will still need keeping an eye on.

Thank you very much for your swift reply. We'll keep an eye it on, but having now read about it, it seems better than the algae we had last year.
