| | | Re: Under rips sloes Freezing +/- the pricking will ripen the berries. But as Hobjob has already stated for Sloe Gin all you would need to do is add more sugar in than normal. Either way your going to have lots of fun experimenting  . Although not sure what the Mods will say, as they don't like us discussing edibility of foods, especially at this time of year.

Do birds eat sloes.. | I would have thought so, unless the mammalian wildlife gets to them first. But have to be honest and say don't know, as if I came across any they usually ended up being mixed with a healthy dose of Gordon's and sugar plus a few other ingredients.
As for the Mods, didn't want to get the OP a warning on their first thread. Good to know it is not a complete blanket ban then
