| | | honey suckle this time of year ? hi i may be wrong but does wild honey suckle grow and flower this time of year ? on my walks i have noticed what looks like wild honey suckle just starting to flower amongst some bushes. i have never seen it grow this time of year be for .or have i got it totally wrong and it is a garden species. it doesn't look so. has sort of wild honey suckle look about it . i'm just intrested as to wehter any one thinks it's an odd time of year to bloom. |

which I have been told is Japanese Honeysuckle. So looks like it does flower this time of year

| | | Re: honey suckle this time of year ? Yes, Honeysuckle often flowers has a second flowering, as do a number of plants. I also have noticed it's particularly so this year.
Our Magnolia is also covered in flowers at the moment.

Dorts. | Cor - How common is that Dorts?
Plenty of honeysuckle out on my local heaths and scrub at the moment. I had always assumed it was late flowering, hadn't realized it was second flowering. |

that is exactly the flower type i saw. thank you every one for the replies and pics much appreciated. and something new i have learned after all these years .. |
