It was obviously after insects at the bottom of the 'pitcher' which has slippery sides. Over-streched itself and fell head-first into the liquid pool below. No escape.

Yes Dorts, they made it sound like the plant reached out and grabbed the bird they do like to sensationalise things will be eating kids next and need culling..
