| | | Pirri-pirri bur What is the best way to ensure the seeds from the burs can't germinate. i.e. how best to kill them off, good and proper and dispose of them? |

| | | Re: Pirri-pirri bur I wasn't sure if they were fire adapted or not given that they are native to Australia and NZ. I had a vision of the burs enjoying a fire burn, with their hooks burning nicely and providing an air current to send the seeds up with the smoke to pastures anew. I decided to boil them for a while (actually over an hour as I forgot about them ... ). I'm hoping that will have done the trick. I hope the habitats that they thrive in doesn't include the areas around hot geysers. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
