Yellow Thistle Id
I found this yellow thistle growing on some waste ground, can anyone tell me what it is? Thanks.

I think it's one of the safflowers, perhaps Carthamus lanatus, which does occur as a casual.

I think it is Carthamus tinctorius rather than C. lanatus.
