Violet helleborines flowering time

After some research i have found a location nearby that has a population .The said flowering time is august,i was wondering if anyone has seen them this year and also if its too early to look ?

If you know where to look, you can find plants in late May, early June, (though of course not in flower). Violet Helleborines are generally the last Helleborine to flower, late July through to the end of August.
They can be very long-lived plants, and often multi-stemmed.

Thanks Dorts. I am yet to see any helleborine so did not want to miss these as they are only a few miles away.I think i will look tommorrow,incase they flowered early like most things did this year..

Now onwards is good. I believe some are flowering in south Oxfordshire and have been for a week. Great plant to find in flower and if you are very lucky you may come across the rare rosea variety which is a very strange pinky colour though lack of chlorophyll.
