Hi am i right in thinking these are a type of helleborine found them today some in shade other more open i think was a few more but mr mower man got to them

Thanks leifus: how common are these I have not seen them much in Runcorn in fact only place I do see them is where I found these and some of the land here is up for re devlopement though the site its self is ok I think except for local council mower man there was some others much like thse over other side of the lake [they grow round the borders] from these but with a purple tinge to leaves never got to see the flowers mower man got them got to try and have a word with him as he will leave them if he knows about them. Not a bad place for orchids round this lake has got marsh orchids loads and what I think are spotted orchids very few and not every year

As far as orchids go they are common. Still worth mentioning to the mower though!
