ID for an Unkown Coastal Plant

Each head about 4mm across

It's a stonecrop- looks like Sedum anglicum to me.

I'd go along with that, English Stonecrop - Sedum anglicum. Has pale pink flowers and can cope with the driest of conditions.

Thanks folks, what through me is the leaves being so red, the other examples I have seen with the characteristic pink/white flowers where mostly green leaved.

Many plants leaves and stems turn red when stressed or growing in very exposed, dry conditions, probably a method of protection.
