Flower for ID - yellow
Can anyone assist with ID of this flower. Seen on mag/limestone near Low pittington, Co. Durham. Thanks

Slender St John's Wort - Hypericum pulchrum.
One of my many favourites. It use to be called Elegant St. John's-wort which I think is a much more appropriate name.
Your plant is just going over, here it is in full-flower.

Thanks Dorts. It's great that I can put images on the forums and get helpful replies from people like yourself. I really enjoy taking pictures of wild flowers but it's even better when I know what they are. Try as I might I can't get my head around published ID guides.
