| | | Weld question I've noticed an enormous amount of weld in Kent this year- mainly on uncultivated land and roadsides. We do have it every year but this year in abundance. Anyone else noticed it?
I actually quite like it.

| | | Re: Weld question There are a lot of relatively huge weld plants near me, especially a particular group just near a Northamptonshire duel carriage way. They do have an impressive kind of primitive look to me!
I have actually noticed a huge amount of marsh thistle this year, especially in meadows that I have surveyed, where it has became quite abundant in certain areas! Has anyone else seen this?

Weld as normal.
What has been most amazing to me, and many of the local folk, is that virtually all the Gorse in this part of the world has bee killed by the cold weather. The level of frost, -25c must have been just a bit too much for it. I suppose all plants have a threshold?
