| | | ID : Lombardy Poplar? Morning WAB,
I have attached an image of a leaf taken from a row of roadside trees by a lay-by near Hele in Devon the other day.
I suspect this looks like a Lombardy Poplar leaf and the tree looks right when comparing to my books.
I know these are probably planted and highly likely to be hybridised cultivars but is anyone knowledgeable enough on trees to give an opinion on this leaf please?
Regards,
Andrew. |

I am really surprised there are male and female trees so that is something to look at and learn about!
