| | | Re: Large Leaved Woodland Plant? I have seen this before, but cannot for the life of me remember it's name. It's not a native I'm sure of that. It looks similar to a Petasites sp. or very similar.
Some of the larger leaves are almost Arum-like, but I don't think it is that genus. Quote:

Regards Chris... | Chris, as I pointed out to Treecreeper, there is a panicle of small white flowers showing in the 3rd. pic. Hosta's have a lily-like flower, so I don't think it is.

The flowers in the 3rd. pic. are certainly Comfrey-like, especially if you imagine they have dropped their petals. Symphytum cordatum is listed in Plant Finder, with a variety called 'Goldsmith' with variagated leaves being the popular plant. Only one Nursery lists the 'type' so it must be very uncommon in its natural form.
