| | | Unidentified plant - Yellow Pitcher Plant ? Found two of these on the Somerset levels (Peat moors) a few weeks back. First thoughts was it was Pitcher Plant, but checking the books later the only UK one looks nothing like this. Best I can come up with is Sarracenia flava.
No habitation nearby so quess it's a deliberate introduction.
Nice find, even if it is 'planted'

Yes, all plants found in Britain were originally planted, but some colonies have persisted for many years. Probably the commonest and hardiest is Sarracenia purpurea.
I have just had a look at recent records and it looks as though your plants have been recorded.
