wasnt sure of it until a mate pointed it out , and was just so intruged with it.
I'll be goggleing later to find out more about it.
The only thing i did regret is not taking a picture.  (why u had your camera with you silly man)

Nige | I have seen common dodder at Dungeness. However "common" is misleading as it is a rare species for certain counties like here in Northamptonshire. All the same always nice to come across where ever it is. Had it on Prawle Point in South Devon last Sept.
Greater Dodder is even rarer for us in Northamptonshire. Know of only one current site near King's Cliffe where it was on both host plants, common nettle and hop.

| | | Re: Dodder If anyone want's to see Greater Dodder, go to the RHS gardens at Wisley and find your way to the River Wey that bounds the garden to the north, plenty growing on Nettles on the river banks.
