| | | Re: Mystery flower Lleyn Peninsular Hi Lindyloo, welcome to WAB.
I'm looking forward to seeing this plant from the Lleyn, (just up the road from me).
Any chance of a photo?

I'm pretty sure it's Slender Borage - Borago pygmaea. A rare garden escape.
--------------
Lyndyloo, there are only half a dozen records of this plant in Britain, and one of them is on the Lleyn!
A great find; was it near Nefyn?

| | | Re: Mystery flower Lleyn Peninsular Borago pygmaea has been known for decades from the cliffs past Porthdinllaen (village on the beach) where it escaped and went wild on the hillside.
Is that where you found it? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
