| | | ID balsam Sorry this is not a good picture taken in 2005, but the area has not been touched as yet, should this be protected or not? Yellow balsam among rhododendron and Himalayan balsam which is due to be eradicated shortly.

| | | Re: ID balsam How are they, and who is going to clear the site. If contractors are used they may not know what it is, and could inadvertantly destroy the plant. It may be worthwhile contacting the Person or Persons involved, and informing them before work starts, incase the Balsam has been overlooked. |

| | | Re: ID balsam Been in touch with local authority and rangers, they have assured me that the balsam will be safe, I will keep an eye on it myself, it's on one of our regular routes.
