| | | What leaves are these? Hi folks, I`ve been puzzling over these leaves for a while, I thought maybe Horseradish, or a Dock. Can anyone help me please. They were on disturbed ground & were massive, each leaf over 1ft in length.

Looks like a teasel to me, that hasn't headed skywards yet.

| | | Re: What leaves are these? I'll second Richard on that one. We bring a dry head of teazle in prior to the winter to watch the goldfinches feeding. We now have plants like this all over the place, a small price to pay for the enjoyment of watching the birds. Teazle are biennial (I think). Cheers, Tony |
