| | | Plants for ID/Confirmation. All the following plants were seen at the Oysterbed site, North Hayling Island. All close to the sea shore.
Seen in clumps in the shingle.
Seen some 30' from the shoreline and unlikely to be affected at high tide. The plant in the centre with the cream and yellow leaves is the item in question.
Seen near the above plant. This looks to be a form of daisy.
I believe this to be Hawthorn blossom.

2 Milk Thistle, Silybum marianum
3 Daisy (same as on lawns), Bellis perennis

Thank you. | I know this Milk Thistle colony well, it's the largest I've seen, good to know it's still there.

Thank you also for your reply Dorts. There are quite a few of these plants around this area. Later in the season I shall be taking another photo which is hopefully clearer.
