| | | bistort? and a plantain! Hello, I've got two species for identification here If anyone would be kind enough to help me!
There's quite an abundant plant which grows around here which I thought could be bistort but am unsure since I have no identification guide!
I've also found what I think is Plantago lanceolata...
cheers,

| | | Re: bistort? and a plantain! Don't know what it is, but it doesn't look like Bistort, which is much more lanceolate and narrower. Your other plant is Ribwort Plantain as you suggest.
Cheers,

| | | Re: bistort? and a plantain! I think 1. could well be Common Bistort - Persicaria bistorta, you will soon know if and when those large pink flowers emerge, a lovely plant.
2. I agree with Adam, Ribwort Plantain.

Cheers,
Adam | Are you thinking of Amphibious Bistort, Adam? I agree with Dorts that Common Bistort looks likely.
