| | | Re: Fritillary I've seen them described as rare, though I have never seen one either, but I have never seen a snakeshead fritillary of any kind in the wild. This one was growing on a piece of waste ground which also plays host to a solitary lung wort. |

| | | Re: Fritillary The white ones are rarer than the normal type but do crop up regularly in and around Oxford. There are two big populations I know of and whites are always present in them. |
