2 trees in garden for ID please

Hi, I noticed two 'new' sapling trees in my woodland garden today while I was doing a bit of a tidy up, and would appreciate an ID for them both. They're both over 5ft tall.

I've only taken photos of the leaves of both trees, but if these aren't sufficient for an ID, I'll take some more pics tomorrow:

The first tree had thorns along the stems:



The second tree was growing next to a Silver Birch, but the leaves are different to the mature Silver Birches in the garden:

The first one is a Hawthorn, and I think the second a wild Cherry.

What a lovely surprise! I’ve always wanted a Hawthorn and now I have an established one, plus a bonus wild Cherry too!! Gifts from my garden birdies I presume
