Flower ID please
I dont think these are a wild flower i took them in the grounds of Whalley Abbey today thank you

It's one of the several forms of Tulipa tarda, not a native, it originaly came from Central Asia and is now frequently planted in parks and gardens.

It looks more like Tulipa turkestanica to me

I think you're right, I used to grow both and T. turkistanica does tend to have far less yellow in the flower.
