Also awaiting the return of the cuckooflower (Cardamine pratensis) that grows right next to my pond!Waiting till about April to take a trip to my local woods in Northamptonshire to see the bluebell carpets yet again. But to be honest I am eagerly awaiting any spring forb! |

| | | Re: Spring flowers Celandine a plant thats forgotten for most of the year then the leaves appear even now there is a patch of green here and there in my garden.
Then later on you get that much needed punch of bright yellow from hundreds of happy little faces to wipe away the memories of the snow.
Once flowered its not long before the leaves go to be forgotten until next spring

I am already seeing the odd brave flower - Dandelion, Wavy Bittercress and Groundsel.
The Daffodils around Yeovil are starting to bloom too - a full 5 weeks later than in the previous two years. |
