| | | One last tree id please I promise this is the last one. I have tried googling white berried Rowans if thats what it is, but all I could find in that department was white berries that were half an inch across and not ones this size. I want one of these in my garden to and the hole is ready. Hope someone can identify it |

| | | Re: One last tree id please There's also a yellow-berried variety which I have in my garden, I don't know the name of it sorry.
Birds seem to leave the berries on it until there aren't any other berries left on other trees. If this coincides with an influx of Waxwings, Redwings or Fieldfares, then I can get loads of birds in the tree.
One memorable year, before I started photographing, there were over 30 Waxwings in my tree.
Regards, Audrey. |

| | | Re: One last tree id please I have just planted a yellow berried form (Joseph rock) Audrey and I have purposely planted it for Waxwings as they seem to prefer these to normal Rowan. Plus the normal red Rowan are usually stripped by other birds before they arrive. I believe this white berried one is also ignored by Blackbirds ets hence why I want one of these too. They look great in photographs to along with the waxwings. Lucky you having 30 in the garden, hope I will be saying the same soon |

| | | Re: One last tree id please Hi helpers, I googled and looked into the S.Cashmiriana one ond found this Buy Kashmir Rowan Trees | Sorbus cashmiriana Although it looks the same the berries are much smaller in the picture I posted and that is what I am after, it says on the link I put on those berries go to 12mm???? Finally is £164 a normal price? I paid £50 for the yellow berried one and as a scotsman that nearly gave me heart failure |
