| | | Re: Cowslips flowering It would seem from some of the posts on here that quite a few plant are flowering for a second time this year. That's not so unusual but with cowslips it is.
For many years I worked on a programme of selective breeding of cowslips but don't remeber them ever flowering a second time very often, the garden polyanthus and primulas, yes, but not the true cowslips.

It looks to me like Common Toadflax; an ugly name for a beautiful flower.
