Roadside friut

Hi All,

ive found a walnut tree although its on a main road, will this affect the flavour/edibility.

I doubt it will affect the Walnuts at all, either their flavour or edibility. That will be down to the particular tree, as English walnuts are very variable as to edibility, some are not bad while others are not worth the bother.

cool, any ideas on how i get the outer skin off easily and any idea how long i leave em till i crack em.

Lay them on a tray until the green coat goes black and it will peel off easily. Don't leave them too long or they may dry out in the shells - try one or two to see!
