| | | Some plants for ID Hopefully I should be able to bring my diary thread up to date over the next couple of days, but with these ones I'm in need of some ID suggestions. Many of them are from my summer trip to the Scilly Isles, so they probably won't appear in the majority of books - any ideas will be very welcome
There are quite a few of them
1: Sown on a wall at Tresco Abbey Gardens, Isles of Scilly;
2: A Pelargonium, established as a weed in the Tresco flowerbeds
3: I'm presuming this is a type of Sedum, also naturalised at Tresco Abbey Gardens
4: A succulent, this time on the dunes at Tresco.
5: On a wall in Hugh Town, St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly;
6: Lower Moors nature reserve, St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly, 16th June;
Any help gratefully appreciated |

| | | Re: Some plants for ID 1. I saw plenty of this when I visited Tresco, but none flowering. Am fairly sure that it is Francoa ramosa
3. Crassula coccinea
4. Would be nice to know which leaves go with the flowers. The first picture the leaves look like a Carpobrotus but the flowers don't. In the second picture there are also leaves which look like Lampranthus falciformis. I think the flowers are probably a Lampranthus of some sort.
5. Looks vaguely like Asparagus densiflorus - but a bit too fleshy...
6. A Gladiolus, perhaps G. x colvillei
good to see you back David |

good to see you back David | Many thanks, Tiggrx - the first two look spot on to me and, having studied all the photos I can find of Asparagus densiflorus online, I'm convinced that's number five. So, a few more off my Unidentifieds folder
Still plenty remaining, though! |

| | | Re: Some plants for ID 8 looks like a small Echium pininana ( can grow to 2 metres or more, but sometimes small specimens occur) This species is common on Scilly/Cornmall, though other exotic Echium + hybrids also occur.
11 Looks like a Gazania, maybe G. rigens. |

| Any idea which ones, because I'm struggling to find the details? |
