Help with a plant ID please!
Hi I've managed to ID most of the plants over my local SSSI (an old abandoned colliery turned nature reserve). This one pops up year after year in one small metre square patch. I have no idea what it is, any help would be good thanks! The flowers were fading about 2 weeks ago but some were left on. The stem looked quite woody and rigid on most of the plants.

Looks like Common Soapwort (Saponaria officinalis) to me.

Agree + the double flowered form, a fairly common escapee that naturalises on verges, woodland edge, etc.
