How close to the ground should I cut the stumps?? many thanks!!! | If you're unsure I would recommend a hedge laying course (try BTCV or local wildlife group) as it's a skill that's a bit hard to describe!

| | | Re: Another hazel coppicing Q Have you got a local Stickmakers Club nearby - they are always on the look out for material especially hazel - our local group gets to coppice a few areas. We are always on the look out for fresh places.

Best advise would be to contact the National Hedge Laying Society, they will give the names of any local Hedgelayers, who would be more than happy to take a look at the hedge for you. |
