| | | small coastal flower The flowers on this plant were very small 5mm or so.They were a few of these growing along a coastal path near the river severn in south gloucestershire.
Any ideas please |

| | | Re: small coastal flower 1. Greater Sea-spurry - Spergularia media. Petals longer than sepals. Fruiting stalks shorter or equaling fruit. Leaves more greeny-yellow than 2.
2. Lesser Sea-spurry - Spergularia marina. Petals usually shorter than sepals. Fruiting stalks longer than fruit.
Therefore I go for 1. Greater Sea-spurry.
