| | Berries for ID please I came across these growing in the banks of the River Wye, Monmouthshire, S. Wales last week
Can someone give me an indication as to what they are please?
Slightly smaller than blueberries or wimberrie/bilberries and nothing like a blackberry.

That is Dewberry - Rubus caesius, a bramble common over most of England and S. Wales. Perfectly good to eat if you can pick enough of them!
