Never seen this before, cannot ID


Found this on a small outcrop of rock on a ridge in Cumbria, did not see it anywhere else and have never seen it before. There were another two plants of this type in close proximity but no others.

Would just like to know what it is, it has heather features to the flower but not the leaves.

Seems its quite abundant further north but not so in Cumbria but a very tidy little plant and edible!! from what I gather.
