| | | wild roses confusion I have 2 different wild roses here,there seems to be a fair few varieties.Are any of these the dog rose or are they both types of dog rose.Also are they both native .ps they seem different to the other wild rose recently listed which was a darker red.  |

| | | Re: wild roses confusion The white flower is a Field rose, the stamens at the centre are in a clump. The pink one is more like a sweetbriar, but there are several variations. A common Dog rose is a paler pink.
