I think the pompom is a Hydrangea of some kind.

Cheers Jason  | Not a Hydrangea Jason, though I can see where you're coming from. Look at the leaves- they are a clue. It's a double flowered variety of Guelder Rose, Viburnum opulus. Have to say I think the normal species is more attractive imo! |
