It looks like Caper Spurge Euphorbia lathyris, which as well as being a garden plant is often found as an escape.
Cheers Jason. |

| | | Re: weed or plant? I agree with Jason - Caper Spurge, very much a free seeding plant.

| | | Re: weed or plant? Yes, agree with id. Definitely Caper Spurge - [i][Euphorbia lathyris /I]
I like in the garden and will always give it room, but it can take over a bit if not controlled. |

Take care when handling any member of the Euphorbia family, the sap (a sticky latex) is an irritant and cause photosenitisation which can result in blistering in strong sunlight on exposed skin.
Caper Spurge is ornamental, but not very useful in supporting native wildlife.

| | | Re: weed or plant? One of these appeared in my front garden in Coventry a few years ago. It grew to be over 5' tall!! Since then, I've had a few others, although none of them ever grew that high again. I thought it was a lovely plant. Does it matter if it's a 'plant' or a 'weed' if you like it? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
