| | | Cherry tree I have inherited 3 fully mature cherry trees in my little orchard. Two of these trees are fruiting magnificently with loads of fruit ready to pick in a day or two, however the third has loads of fruit on it, but only about a quarter of them have matured. It was the same last year. The ones which don't look likely to mature are perfectly formed, but remain small and yellow with hardly any flesh covering the normal size stone. It is a predominantly yellow cherry with rosy 'cheeks'.
Anyone any ideas what the problem might be? I will be grateful for any posts.
Thank you
