| | | ID on strange, self seeded plant in garden pls! This very healthy little beast has self set itself in a pot in my garden and despite much research, I can't seem to pinpoint it! It bears no resemblance to any plant in mine or my neighbours gardens and so I am thinking it may have come from the birdseed I put out...my mother is convinced it is cannabis...but somehow think that is harder to grow.....
Have other pics that will try to post..... |

I think your mum is right but the seed and plant are treated so no drug can be obtained (I think).
Just in case I'm sure somebody has a few contacts and its street value is around the............sorry will have to go ,I'm under arrest |

| | | Re: ID on strange, self seeded plant in garden pls! Seriously tho, do I need to worry bout this? Are the cops gonna end up on my doorstep cos of a pretty plant that I don't know where it came from or what it is?
Is hemp seed or related species used commonly in bird seed and if so, why hasn't anyone else had this dilemma? Or are you just winding me up?? |

| | | Re: ID on strange, self seeded plant in garden pls! I'll have a word with my friends in the South Yorkshire police and see what they say
Hemp is a regular in bird seed, you can even buy it on its own and for fishing and I've had it growing in my garden (but nobody noticed so shhhhh).
As I say I think the seed is treated or genetically changed so the narcotic element is removed so its no good as a drug.
If you dig it out and burn it try not to inhale the fumes as you will be giggling for hours and there aren't that many kebab shops open on sundays if yuou get tnhe munchies
I'm not sure about the legal side but if it was tested and there are no drugs in it I'm sure you're off the hook
If we don't here from you for a while we will Know what the problem is and we will be sure to start a "FREE THE WAB 1" campaign.
Good luck.

| | | Re: ID on strange, self seeded plant in garden pls! Seriously:
If it was me I'd just leave it and watch it grow and chuck it on the compost heap in the Autumn. I don't think the police are going to get exercised over an accidentally grown lone plant.
