Hi Tomuk What a lovely plant! It looks like a legume of some kind, though I don't think it is one of our native vetches. Have you looked through all the vetches? Alternatively an exotic species of lupin. Do you live near the sea? |

I agree, Wild Mignonette (Reseda lutea) likes calcareous soils.

Thanks for all your help,i looked at Mignonette but felt the leaves did not look right ,but now im not so sure. |

Is that where you live Tom? You couldn't get a picture of the flowers I suppose? The leaves look wrong for minionette to me too.

Leaves look pretty normal for Mignonette; which I agree is the ID of the plant. |
