| | | Riverside plant for ID I found these in Heddon Valley, Exmoor, early May. Found in several places near water. A lady passing by said she had been walking the vally fo 70 years and this was the first year she'd seen them here. She did give me the latin name but I didn't write it down, thought they came from N. America.

Last season I found a couple of plants on a roadside verge in Leigh Woods village, above the Avon Gorge in Bristol. This year, I've found three clumps in the main Leigh Woods nature reserve (where the endemic Sorbus trees are found) and even a patch on the towpath alongside the River Avon itself.
