My apologies for my earlier cynical response to this thread but I was giving the standard reply that I get to my passion for 'dark night skies' now ruined by thoughtless light pollution. In reality most folk don't think or care about such issues and it may be prudent to link these issues, however seemingly unrelated, in a common cause

Put it this way - if you remove your garden security light I'll grub-up my daffs from the grass verge - now that'll be a test for some on both grounds
